Enabling MTP file Transfer on MI4A

MTP transfer is not working on MI phones running MIUI 8 version because Developer options and USB Debugging are disable on Mi smartphones:
To enable MTP transfer we need to enable USB Debugging first:
Step 1:Go to the Settings. And search for ‘About Phone’ option and open. Then search MIUI Version option. Then click 5-6 timeson MIUI version continuously until you see a message “You have enabled developer option” on your phone.

Then You can try for MTP transfer through USB cable.
